Incompleteness wins Micheaux Film Festival, first prominent fest to return to theaters

Writer/Director David Ash was thrilled to attend the prestigious Micheaux Film Festival, sponsored by Sony Pictures and Oprah Winfrey Network. The pilot episode screened before a full capacity audience at the historic Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA, and received a tremendous response. A couple days later, Incompleteness was awarded Outstanding Dramatic Series, our 36th fest win for “Best Series”.

The other nominees for the award were five very popular, remarkably well-made series that combined have won over 20 Emmys. These shows are so good that Ash did not believe winning the award was feasible so didn't prepare an acceptance speech and the above clip is kinda what that looks like.

4 1/2 star review from popular independent film site, IndieFilmCritics.com

“Ash forges a new trail in filmmaking and gives us a brilliant binge-worthy show that delves into the mystery of both metaphysics and relationships. This show consists of bold choices and unconventional risks and the payoff is rewarding, including a puzzle of a story that will suck you in." (click image for full review)
